CB Passive Income Review — Is It Legit? Earn Passive Clickbank Money

cb passive income legitWhat is CB Passive Income? Is it legit? And will you really earn “passive income” by using it? Read this CB Passive Income review to discover the naked truth.

CB Passive Income — What It Does

http://cbpassiveincome.com was created by Patric Chan, author of bestselling book WakeUp Millionaire. Its goal is simple: Help you earn money with email marketing, but without having to build an autoresponder series.

Here’s how email marketing usually works: You send traffic to a landing page that offers visitors a free ebook in exchange for their email address. Once they sign up, you send them emails every 2-5 days for the next few months or even longer. These emails contain valuable information, but they also contain affiliate promotions, which is how you make money.

Here’s how email marketing works with CB Passive Income: You send traffic to a landing page that Patric Chan created. Users then sign up and get added to Patric’s email list. Patric then sends them emails with affiliate promotions. But here’s the catch: Instead of Patric making money from these affiliate promotions, YOU will make the money. All you have to do is plug your Clickbank ID into the settings, and all promotions will be attributed to you.

Patric only promotes Clickbank products, which usually have commissions of 50 or 75 percent. That’s why it’s called CB Passive Income — CB stands for Clickbank. You’ll get “passive” income from Clickbank products, and you don’t have to even have your own email list or autoresponder.

CB Passive Income costs a one-time fee of $97 — not bad for a system that can bring you in a lot of money. If you’re lucky, you will be offered a two-week trial for $1. You can also pay a monthly access fee of $47.

cb passive income legit reviewWhy Use CB Passive Income?

You might argue that if you’re sending traffic to a landing page, you might as well save money and create your own autoresponder. Why use CB Passive Income?

Well, first of all, it will save you the time and money of writing out emails and paying for an autoresponder.

Second of all, not everyone knows how to create emails that convert. I’ve signed up to many email lists from bloggers and internet marketers (it’s a good way to spy on your competition), and some were just absolutely horrible — they probably hardly convert at all.

Third, if you use CB Passive Income Inbox Pro, the emails that are collected will get added automatically to your own list as well, meaning that if you do have an autoresponder already, you can potentially double your profits – your leads will be signed to two lists instead of your original one. Even without CB Passive Income Pro, you can manually add your leads to your list.

Fourth, you can do what I do: I collect emails via the signup forms on my site. I have an autoresponder sequence set up, and one of the emails in my autoresponder promotes Patric’s landing page and free ebook. So a good portion of my list will sign up to Patric’s list as well, and I will make money from his list by doing nothing. Indeed, it is passive income!

I also have banners on my site that promote his landing page, and although they don’t work as well as other types of traffic, they still bring in leads. I’ll probably make more many this way than having regular CPC ads.

CB Passive Income Training

There are a number of training videos at CB Passive Income that teach you how to get traffic from places like social media, solo ads and forums commenting. However, I doubt that newbies will really be able to use these methods to drive a lot of traffic.

In addition, there are a number of bonus resources and training that Patric provides. These might even be worth the price of the whole system by themselves; they’re really great advanced training packages that you can download.

cb passive income reviewIs Patric’s Funnel Any Good?

Some of you may be wondering about the quality of Patric’s funnel, including his signup page, free offer, and his emails themselves. Do they convert? Are they any good?

CB Passive Income gives you six landing pages that promote four different offers, all of them in the internet marketing niche.

One offers an ebook that teaches you how to build your email list fast and how to profit from it. This is my favorite, and it really offers enough quality that I feel comfortable promoting it. I include a promotion of this landing page in my own autoresponder series.

The second one is also very good — It’s a series of 16 videos on how to make money through CPA affiliate marketing. I plan to promote this one as well in my autoresponder sequence. You can see it in the screenshot above.

The third one promises to teach you how to make “your first $100 online”. It basically gives you four training lessons on setting up a blog, getting traffic and making money with affiliate marketing, which are okay but pretty basic stuff. In addition, it needs some proofreading by a native English speaker. The fourth is an ebook that teaches you how to gain leads for cheap by using Bing PPC ads. Again, it’s okay but can use some proofreading.

The fifth teaches you how to build a business by creating a mobile app, and the sixth offers you 21 pre-written email templates for the internet marketing niche. If you want to create an autoresponder but you don’t know how to write emails that convert, you can use these templates and fill in the blanks to promote any product. I haven’t tried these two offers out, but they seem very good. These two landing pages come with follow up emails that promote similar products. There is also another landing page coming out this month — UPDATE: Turns out it’s a really cool software and cloud-based app.

The landing pages are all very good in my opinion. They’re even optimized for mobile in that there is a one-click signup that’s integrated with Facebook.

I tested out Patric’s list by signing up on his landing pages with my own email. I was very satisfied with his autoresponder sequence, and his emails look like they would convert pretty well.

CB Passive Income Inbox Pro

cb passive income scam reviewCB Passive Income Pro costs an additional $97. Here’s what it does: Instead of having to manually copy and paste your collected leads to your own autoresponder (if you have one and you wish to add them), you can set it up so that when someone signs up on Patric’s landing page, they will be automatically entered into both of your lists. Again, it’s not necessary, because you’ll be making money from Patric’s own email autoresponder anyways.

In addition, you will get a number of bonus training and resources if your upgrade to pro.

CB Passive Income Fast Track Series

This is a series of training videos, tools, and software that teaches you how to make money online through various methods. I honestly have not tried it and can’t really comment on it. It’s an optional upsell of $197 or $47/month.

How Does Patric Make Any Money From This System?

If you’re wondering about this, the answer is simple. First of all, he makes money when you purchase his system. Second of all, he doesn’t only promote Clickbank products that were created by other merchants, he promotes his own Clickbank products as well. He has LOTS of great Clickbank products, including CB Passive Income, a blogging course, a Youtube course, a PLR firesale bundle, an email marketing course, an app development course, and probably more. This way, you’ll take the affiliate commission, and he will be the merchant who takes the rest of it.

CB Passive Income

CB Passive Income is a great system that lets you make money via email marketing without creating an autoresponder. If you already have an autoresponder, you can potentially double your profits.

So, Is CB Passive Income Legit? Can It Really Be True?

I think that CB Passive Income is an amazing product. It gives you the ability to double your earnings or even make money without owning a list or paying for an autoresponder. You don’t even have to do the work of finding high-converting affiliate offers to promote.

Now, is this meant for newbies? Well, newbies can definitely benefit from this. First of all, newbies wouldn’t be able to create high converting emails for their own list, and this takes the work out of it. In addition, they don’t even have to work on or pay for an autoresponder or a landing page; it’s a lot cheaper than managing your own list.

However, I still think that you should have some basic traffic generation experience before using it. For example, if you have a website, you can use your website traffic to generate leads, and if you have a large social following, you can use that to generate leads. If you don’t have any experience, you can still use CB Passive Income, provided that you can spend a little money for solo ads to build up your list initially.

Once in a while, Patric offers to do the marketing for you as well. So for example, you can give him $50 or $100 a month and he’ll use his own methods to collect leads for you. It’s really great, because he’s using traffic sources that have been proven to work for him. Plus, you know that he has a vested interest in making sure you get good leads that convert, because it’s his own products that he’s promoting in the autoresponder. This offer isn’t always open, though.

I love CB Passive Income, and I think that Patrick is a genius for coming up with this system. It delivers on all of its promises.

  1. Orland Rock

What is the point if I already have a list in the internet marketing niche

    1. Ben (Post author)

      Hi Orland,

Just because you have one list doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have another.

Think about it. Let’s say you build your list using PPC traffic. If you have only one list, you’re going to have to work very hard to find the best keywords that convert very good and are still very cheap. If you want to make good money with your list and are aiming say for 100 subscribers a day, it’s going to be very hard to do that, especially if you’re using Bing (because Google Adwords is very strict with landing pages).

But if you have 10 lists, your work is a lot easier. Instead of working hard to get 100 subscribers to one list, you only have to get 10 subscribers to each list and you’ll make the same amount of money. You get what I’m saying?

If you set up a PPC campaign that converts, you don’t really need to touch it much; just let it run and do its work. It really is passive income.

With CP Passive Income, you get access to SIX different lists and landing pages. Each landing page can use separate keywords that you can bid on. For example, for one landing page you can use “make money” keywords, for another list you can use “how to build an app” keywords, for another list you can use “how to build an email list fast” keywords, etc. It makes your work much easier.

And it’s like the list belongs to you, because you get all the affiliate profits. In addition, if you upgrade to Inbox Pro, you can also have all the subscribers automatically added to the list you are already using, which basically doubles your profits.

The landing pages convert very well from my experience. To hire someone to build the landing pages, write the free ebooks, and write the autoresponder emails for you would usually costs hundreds of dollars, so it is a good deal.

What is difference between different landing pages? And why are people saying it’s a SCAM?

    1. Ben (Post author)

      Hi Joyce!

First of all, the people saying that it’s a scam are usually trying to promote another affiliate product, so they bash good products to promote their other products. Look at their reviews, and see if they are promoting another product. If they are, then they are just bashing this to get traffic to their own affiliate links. CB Passive Income isn’t meant as a course for newbies with no backround to learn affiliate marketing; it’s a way for people who already do affiliate marketing to make money from email marketing without having to go through the hassle of building a list.

I can attest that it is a totally legit product. It’s a great way to expand your income. Right now, I’m using it to get people who sign up on my email list to sign up to CB Passive Income list also, and I’m getting around double my Clickbank hops this way.

As for the landing pages, each is in a slighly different niche. One is in make money online, one is in email marketing, one is in app building business, etc. Each landing page will have a slightly different autoresponder. The app business landing page will promote products relating to app business. The make money landing page will promote products relating to make money. The email marketing landing page will have an autoresponder that promotes an email course. And so on and so forth.

  3. Aabidd

That means I can collect my subscriber list for ($97+$97)=$194? and is it true that Patrick chan promotes other Clickbank product or own product? Because many products promote is the best option.

    1. Ben (Post author)

      Hi Aabidd!

Yes, it is $97 for the product, plus $97 for being able to build your own list at the same time (plus tax). So that’s around $194.

And yes, Patric promotes many Clickbank products. He actually owns a LOT of Clickbank products, and he promotes all of them, not just CB Passive Income.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you need to know anything else.

      Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Kenny

Does he share any numbers on how his follow up autoresponders are converting? I’d sure be interested to know what %s he’s seeing (or anyone in his programs are seeing).

    1. Ben (Post author)

      Hey Kenny!

That’s an interesting question. I haven’t seen any stats from him, though maybe he has them somewhere. I will definitely update on the stats that I see as I use this system. Right now I’m just starting out, and I have collected 11 subscribers and 72 clicks from his system (look at the Clickbank tracking ID cbpisystem to see the stats).

Actually, the main Clickbank product that he promotes to his list is CB Passive Income itself. After Clickbank fees, you’ll make a $52.87 commission from each sale, so you only really need two sales to cover the upfront investment it will cost you. I also know that CB Passive Income converts really well, because it has a Clickbank gravity score of over 160, which is crazy high (most good products have a gravity score of 30-60).

Also, since he’s promoting his own Clickbank products, where he will get the merchant’s share of the sale, he actually has a vested interest in making sure that the autoresponder converts.

      Thanks for stopping by!

UPDATE: I’ve since noticed that Patric mentions this in the FAQs, and I’ll just copy and paste from there:

Q4. If my goal is to make about $500 per month, how many leads should I aim for?

A4. We will propose of getting about 2,500 of leads in your system to achieve this goal. This is based on the assumed calculation as following:

We assume you’ll get 10% clickthrough’s from your list, therefore, you’ll be able to get 250 clicks.

On average, the list will receive an estimated of 7emails per month.

We aim to promote Clickbank products that have an EPC of $0.30 an above.

So the math would look like this:

      250 clicks x 7 times a month x $0.30 = $525 a month

Please note that the above is just estimation. It is almost impossible to have an accurate number because there are many factors and variations involved in marketing, therefore you may be making less or even MORE.

So that’s for $500 a month, which certainly isn’t bad. Of course, that’s assuming you have a static list of only 2,500 emails.

  5. Ricki

I haven’t tried this yet but I’m curious about it.

The hype around “passive income” makes me a little nervous.

I’ve promoted a few things from ClickBank before but not with a system like this that has follow up emails – that would work way better. Might have to give it a shot and see.

Appreciate the honest review with both the positives and negatives.

    1. Ben (Post author)

      Hi Ricki!

      I hear what you’re saying.

But the best way to make money online is really by having an autresponder sequence set up. This way, all you have to do is focus on getting traffic to your list, and it is kind of “passive” after that, since emails get sent automatically. It’s called a “money-magnet machine.”

It really can be passive. Let’s say you set up a Bing and Facebook ads campaign — once you find a profitable ads campaign, you can just let it run by itself.

And if you can get people subscribed to TWO lists at once, like you can do with CB Passive Income, then you can double your earnings 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by!

  6. Alice

Hmm… this seems like it could be a really good one to try out. Writing emails that convert is tough, especially when you’re new to affiliate marketing (as you pointed out!).

    1. Ben (Post author)

      Hi Alice!

Absolutely. If you think about the costs it would take to to hire a writer who knows how to write converting emails, it would be hundreds of dollars.

You would also have to pay a monthly fee for an autoresponder. Here, you pay a one-time fee and get everything off your mind, and you can still make money. Incredible.

      Thanks for stopping by!
