If you have a website, you should install Google Analytics. It is a free software that will let you know how many visitors your site receives, which pages are the most popular, where your visitors are coming from (e.g. Google, Bing, Yahoo, Twitter), how long they are staying on your site, where they are located, what keywords they have used that lead them to your site, and more.
To set up Google Analytics, you must first get a Google Analytics account, which can be done using your existing Google Account. You will then have two ways to set it up on your site: There will be a code you can paste in the HTML header of your site, or you can use your Google Analytics ID, which is just a few digits. Just install the “All In One SEO” plugin if you have a WordPress site, copy the Google Analytics ID from your Analytics account, open up the All In One SEO settings, and paste your ID in the field where it says Google Analytics ID.
In a short time, your website traffic will start being tracked. There is a menu on the right side of your Analytics account. Just “play around,” so to speak, and discover all sorts of data about your visitors.
