In our previous post, we discussed how to utilize Google Analytics to analyze your website visitor data and increase conversions. In this post, we will be talking about how to use SpyVisit, another analytics tool.
Here are some of the things you should do:
- Use the heat maps to see where people are clicking on the most. You can view heatmaps of every page. When you see which links, banners or images people are clicking on, you get a good feel for what works and what does not.
- Use heat maps to see where people are scrolling to the most and where their eyes are focused the most. (Eye focus is measured by where their mouse lay.) When you see what part of each page attracts people the most, you can continue to create similar pages going forward.
- Watch the videos of each user session. There are videoed screenshots available of each user session. A good strategy would be to analyze one page at a time. You can take a single page and watch each individual visit to that page. You will find what makes people tick, where their mouse goes, and what they click on. Do this with a few pages and you will already uncover a host of important data.
