Dealspotr is a coupon sharing site that is different than the ones you are used to: Not only can you find deals and save money, but you can
actually earn money in the process. Yes, they will pay you just for being active on their site. We’ll get into the making money part soon, but for now, let’s concentrate on why I think Dealspotr is the best couponing site. I think you will love this Dealspotr review, so read on.
(Note: Promoted — If you purchase a product or join a program through this website, I will receive a commission. Thanks.)
*UPDATE NOVEMBER 2016* The option of earning points by spotting deals has been removed. Instead of being able to spot deals, you can “like” them, but you won’t earn any points. You can also save deals for later. This was done becuase of “abuses to the system” by people wanting to earn points.

Dealspotr – A Couponing Site Like No Other
Dealspotr is unlike other deal sites where you have to search around for deals on your favorite products. With Dealspotr, deals from your favorite companies and products are delivered to your feed.
Dealspotr works a little like Facebook: You choose which companies or products to follow, and you will get all the Dealspotr promo codes, deals, and coupons delivered to your feed. You can also choose interests to follow, such as technology. There is also an option of following people, in which case you will get all of the deals they post delivered to your feed. Of course, you can also use the Dealspotr search bar to search for deals about specific companies.
Like Facebook or Twitter, you can repost any deal you see on the site, and it will be shared with your own followers. You can also “spot” a deal, which is similar to “liking” it on Facebook.
If enough people “spot” and repost a deal, it “goes hot.” When a deal is “hot” or “on fire,” it means that it is extremely popular. You can access all of the “hot” and “on fire” deals from your dashboard. This lets you find popular deals quickly.
Dealspotr deals are validated by the community, so they are more accurate. Anyone can validate a deal by trying it out to see whether it works and posting a screenshot as proof that the promo code is accurate. Deals can also be rejected by moderators or the community if they are expired, inaccurate, or not working. This means that Dealspotr promo codes are more accurate than on other deal sharing sites, where there is nobody to validate whether a deal is still working or not.
Each person on Dealspotr has an accuracy score. If their deals get rejected, their accuracy score goes down. If they submit accurate deals, the score goes up. The score can go up to 300, and the higher the score, the more deals that person can post per day. If the score goes below minus 20, that person can not post deals anymore. This helps tremendously in making sure that all of the deals on Dealspotr are accurate.
Dealspotr — How You Can Earn While Saving
You can earn money by doing all of the above-mentioned tasks:
- Posting deals
- Spotting deals
- Validating deals
- Having a good accuracy score
- Bonus points
Let’s go into each of them.
Every time you post a deal, you will earn points. If you are on a mailing list for a company such as eBay, Newegg, Barnes & Nobles, or any other company, you will likely find plenty of deals in your inbox, and you can then go ahead and post them on Dealspotr.
If you “spot” a deal and it ends up becoming popular, i.e. becoming “hot” or going “on fire,” you will also earn points. This means that you can earn points just by spotting deals! Imagine if you would earn money just by liking Facebook posts…
As you can see in the screenshot on the right, I spotted a deal, and, a few minutes later, it ended up becoming “hot.” I earned 25 points just for that!
You also earn points for validating deals that were posted by other users. Just by trying out a promo code and attaching a screenshot that shows that it works, you can earn money.
Now, the amount you earn will depend on your accuracy score. The higher your accuracy score, the more you will earn for each of these tasks. That’s why it is important to post accurate deals so that you can earn more money for each thing you do.
Then there are daily tasks, such as posting two deals, spotting five deals, validating one, etc. You can earn daily bonus points by completing these tasks.
There are also bonus points for posting a deal about a “requested shopper.” These are companies that Dealspotr users are requesting deals for, but deals for these companies are often difficult to find. If you find a deal for these companies, you get bonus points.
Cashing Out On Your Points — Getting Paid
You can cash out for a $10 Amazon gift card once you reach 10,000 points. This may sound like a lot, but if you are active on Dealspotr, you will reach it in a very short time. Heck, you can earn hundreds of points just by clicking the “spot” button! You can also earn an extra few hundred bonus points by just filling out your daily tasks.
So, Is Dealspotr Legit? Can It Really Be True?
Yes, Dealspotr is definitely legit. In fact, it is one of the best couponing sites, as you get your own personalized deals and coupons delivered to you so you don’t have to look for them, you can view popular deals whenever you want, and the deals are more accurate than on other sites. You can find plenty of great deals just by logging in and viewing your feed — deals that you would have otherwise never discovered.
And even more, you earn money while doing it! You can get gift cards for just being active on the site, which is great.
Also, if you are new to couponing sites, Dealspotr is a great place to start — it is one of the best coupon sites for beginners.
I really do recommend you join Dealspotr — it’s free! It’s an excellent way to save money, and you will earn at the same time!
