Is InstaGC legit? If so, how can it be used to make money? Or, is InstaGC a scam?
InstaGC — Instant Gift Cards
InstaGC stands for “Instant gift cards.” There are many ways to earn points at InstaGC, and you can exchange those points for gift cards or cash. Each point equals 1 cent. Here are 10 ways to earn points and make money with InstaGC:
#1: Try Out Offers and Free Trials
You can earn points by trying out free offers and trials. These offers are from third-party companies. This usually requires you to enter your email address. Sometimes, you will also have to enter a credit card, which will only be charged if you don’t cancel your subscription before the trial is over.
#2: Purchase Something
Another way to earn money is by signing up to or purchasing a service or product. This does require you to pay some money, and you will get paid some points in return. Obviously, this is only good if you really want to purchase that product anyway.
#3: Click on Ads
You can earn a few cents (or just a cent) for every time you click on an ad. This also includes visiting websites; you will get paid just for visiting certain websites.
#4: Watch Videos
You can earn a cent or two by watching sponsored videos. I personally think this is a waste of time; why watch a video just to earn a penny? I would rather watch Youtube.
#5: Take Surveys
You can earn some money by completing online surveys. I don’t recommend this either, because you will usually make just a few dollars or less per hour.
#6: Search the Web
By using the search bar at InstaGC, you can earn a few points here or there. You will not earn points every time you use their search bar; you will only get paid randomly.
#7: Do Tasks
You can also earn a few cents here and there by doing simple tasks, like typing in data.
#8: Download Apps
There is also an option of earning some points by downloading apps.
#9: Compete With Other Members
You can earn bonus points for being among the most active members. There are bonus points for those who have completed the most tasks, for those who have earned the most video credits, and so on and so forth.
#10: Entering the Decimal Pot
By giving up your decimal points, you will be entered into a drawing for even more points. For example, if you have 30.75 points, you can give away 0.75 points to enter this drawing.
How Much Can I Earn at InstaGC?
Not a lot. Most offers, surveys, and tasks pay you very little. Some pay just a few cents, some a few dozen cents, and very rarely will you get an offer that pays a few dollars. Many of these offers require you to spend a lot of time, some require you to give out your email address, some require you to wipe out a credit card, and some even require you to pay money.
Another downside is that points are not credited to your account immediately; it can take a few days after completing a task for that to happen.
For these reasons, InstaGC is not on my recommended list of ways to make money online.
How to Save Money on Shopping at InstaGC
There is one thing that I really did like at InstaGC: You can save money on shopping. If you go to Redeem and then to Printable Coupons, you will find hundreds of coupons on hundreds of items, helping you potentially save hundreds of dollars on shopping. You don’t need any points to be able to use these coupons; it is entirely free. I think that this is a fine way of saving some money.
Getting Paid at InstaGC
Once you have enough points, you can cash out them out for a gift card. There are hundreds of gift cards you can choose from. Most gift cards require at least 500 or 1,000 points to cash out.
Although InstaGC stands for “Instant Gift Cards,” you can get paid in cash as well. If you have at least 500 points (which equals $5), you can get paid via an eCheck, or, if you live in the US, by direct deposit. There is also a cash to Paypal option, but you can’t use it unless you have already cashed out at least $50 through other means.
So, Is InstaGC Legit? Can It Really Be True?
It seems like it is legit. However, you certainly won’t be able to make a lot of money from it. I like the fact that you can get paid in cash, and that $5 is the minimum you need to cash out. I do think that their printable coupons are useful. However, I personally think that there are better ways to make money online.Another thing you have to watch out for is that many people have filed complaints against InstanGC to the effect that they were not paid when they requested a payout. Another thing you have to watch out for is that many people have filed complaints against InstaGC to the effect that they were not paid when they requested a payout. Many people have complained that their accounts were frozen, closed, or that they were accused of using fake contact information and that they won’t be paid. Their support team has been accused of being rude and unhelpful. It definitely is something to be aware of.
