Is MySurvey A Legit Website? Yes, But That Does Not Mean That It is Worth It

Yes, MySurvey is a legit website. But that doesn’t necessarily make it good. Or bad, for that matter. MySurvey in not a scam, but it has all of the faults and disadvantages native to survey sites.2015-10-08-11-30-31

I don’t really have much to say about MySurvey. It’s not a really bad survey site. There are many survey sites out there that are much worse. But it’s not the best, either.

And as with all survey sites, the most you’ll ever make will be some extra pocket cash. Also, you’ll get disqualified from many, if not most, of the surveys.

I will suffice with a quick overview of the system, as well as some pros and some cons.

How It Works

After signing up, either with your email address or through Facebook or Twitter, you can start taking surveys.

Surveys generally pay around 50 points, sometimes less and sometimes  more.

Points can be redeemed for a myriad of gift cards, including a $10 Amazon gift card (at 1100 points), or direct cash to PayPal (also $10, at 1200 points).

Pros Vs. Cons

  • Pro: Low payout requirement.
  • Pro:Cash via PayPal option.
  • Con:Hard to actually qualify for surveys.
  • Con:No monetary compensation if disqualified, only entries to sweepstakes.
  • Con:Many surveys are unavailable on mobile devices.
  • Con: Slightly confusing point system, i.e. not having each point equal a fixed amount of money.
  • Con: Lots of emails sent to you each day.
  • Con: Limited amount of surveys available.

Conclusion:

MySurvey is not a terrible survey site. But it’s not the best, either. In any case, you’ll never make any real income by taking surveys online.

Thank you for your honesty. Your your review was clear and concise.I still might give this survey a try. After all pocket change can add up to be a nice lump sum if you stack it. I have learned, that not all surverys are created equal and as long this survery is legit, then I’m on board to make some extra money.

      Hi Chris,

It’s totally up to you 🙂 But know that I do not recommend MySurvey.

      All the best,

      Ben

It sounds like Mysurvey might be good for someone who just wants to bring in a little bit of extra cash. Actually it wouldn’t be a bad idea for a teenager or a college student to do in between classes. But if someone wants to be able to bring in a full time income they may want to consider something that brings in more cash.

    Hey Ben,
I love your review, straight to the point and I’ve always loved hearing news of legitimate programs online. Its so rare these days to not bump into scams.

My Survey sounds great but i have to agree with you, its not something we can go for if we plan on making a full-time income.

The work is tedious and time-consuming for such very little return, starting our own Online business is a much better option.

    Hey Ben,

Thanks for providing useful informatuon about MySurvey. Problems with survey is they pay very less and it is good for those who are looking for $10 to $25 per month or even less than this.

Otherwise if someone is looking for full time income then these sites are not for this.

Certainly not. In some countries where the average wage is $1-2 an hour, than it might be fine with some survey sites. (Not this one.)That’s if those sites are available in those countries.

Maybe it’s also good for kids living with mom and dad who want some xtra $$$ but don’t want a job. Though you usually have to be 18.

Thanks for sharing about MySurvey. My experience with survey websites is much the same, you really can’t make much money taking online surveys.
I agree with your view on opinion outpost, but not with Mintvine! I had the most awful experience with them!
I suppose each person has a different experience.
Thanks for sharing about different ways to make money online, it certainly makes it easier having honest reviews to check before trying something out. It will save a lot of time and annoyance for a lot of people.

Thank you for your kind words.

Nobody’s advocating your joining Mintvine or any other survey site:)

There’s not much value in them.

But for many people who are desperate and turn to surveys (though there may be something better) it’s worth joining a good survey site.
