Points2Shop Review Summary
Points2Shop is a site where you can earn points by taking surveys and completing offers. You can then redeem these points for products. It is not recommended.
Points2Shop — How to Earn
There are many ways you can earn at Points2Shop. It’s essentially a “get-paid-to” site. You will earn points for completing surveys and for trying out offers. Some offers are free, others require signing up for a free trial, and others cost money.
You can also earn by doing small crowdsourcing tasks, which is powered by Crowdflower. You can get more points by winning contests and tournaments.
How Will Points2Shop Pay You?
The problem is that you can’t get paid in cash for doing these stuff. You can only redeem your points for products. As you can imagine, the products are often highly overpriced compared to the amount of time you need to put in to accumulate enough points to redeem them. In the United States, though, you can also redeem your points for an Amazon gift card, provided you have $50 worth of points (which would be 5,000 points).
Points2Shop Referral Program
Points2Shop will pay you in cash, via Paypal, for referring other people. For every referral who fills out their details when signing up, you’ll earn 50 cents, and you’ll also earn another 50 cents when they complete their first offer. In addition, you’ll earn 15 percent of their earnings for life.
Will Points2Shop Scam You?
If you take a look at Points2Shop’s BBB profile, you’ll notice that they have an F rating. That’s really bad for a company that’s been around for nine years, and when you look at the complaints, you’ll see why they have such a horrible rating. Many people have had their accounts suddenly suspended or blocked for no reason. If you look at Points2Shop’s help pages, you’ll notice that they say that they have the right to suspend your account at any time. It seems like they get people to work for them, and then block accounts in order to avoid paying them. Even if that’s not their real objective, they seem to block people way too often. The negative Points2Shop reviews on SurveyPolice say the same thing.
So, Is Points2Shop Legit? Can It Really Be True?
I’m not a real fan of Get-Paid-To and survey sites in the first place. The fact that Points2Shop has such a horrible BBB rating, and the fact that they don’t pay you in cash, makes them suspicious in my eyes. I do not recommend Points2Shop. If you must join a GPT site, there are betters ones out there.
