Sponsored Tweets Review — Can You Get Paid for Tweeting?

Can you make money on Twitter with SponsoredTweets.com? Is making money online really as simple as sending out a tweet? Find out with this Sponsored Tweets review!sponsored tweets review

What It Is

Sponsored Tweets basically allows anyone to send out sponsored tweets for money. For example, a company wants to get exposure about a certain product, so they will pay you  to tweet about it to your followers. Of course, the more followers you have, the more you can get paid.

How It Works

You sign up to sponsoredtweets.com and link your Twitter account. You will then be shown a number of offers, meaning topics that companies want you to tweet about. You can then suggest a price to the company for your services.

So, Is SponsoredTweets Legit? Can It Really Be True?

Sponsored Tweets is owned by IZEA, which looks like a legitimate company. However, just because you’re willing to tweet for money doesn’t mean you will get to do it. I signed up to sponsoredtweets.com, and until now I have only seen a few offers, with each one paying around three dollars. I didn’t qualify for any of them because they wanted people from a certain state or in a certain age group. Other times, I have logged in and seen no offers at all. Maybe someone with more Twitter followers than me will get more offers; I don’t know.

So, Sponsored Tweets seems legit, and it doesn’t hurt to sign up, but don’t get your hopes high, as you may not get a lot of offers.

I joined them over a month ago. Maybe it is a small number of followers or maybe it is niche I’m in but during that month there were no auctions or offers. Site appears to be abandoned and they are mostly directed to members who pay for their membership.

      Hi Jan,

I have seen the same thing as you. I do not know if it’s because business owners who are looking for people to post sponsored tweets contact celebrities directly, rather than using such as platform or if SponsoredTweets just needs to market themselves more, but that’s the way it is.

      Thanks for stopping by!

Short and sweet. At least we know that, given the right conditions it might be genuinely possible to make some money from paid-for tweeting. I would have thought it was a scam, so thank you for clarifying that it is not. Perhaps those people who Tweet a lot and have massive followings will find it useful.

Yeah, I think the company just needs a little more marketing to make it successful. It is a great idea, but it gets too little traffic.
